What is CAP?

The Community Access Program is a Government of Canada Initiative, administered by Industry Canada. It is a key component of the Connecting Canadians initiative, which aims to make Canada the world's most connected nation. Under CAP, public locations such as schools, libraries, and community centres host CAP computers and provide computer support and training to help Canadians access the Internet and its wealth of services and information.

Currently CAP provides public internet access in Osoyoos at the Sonora Centre, the Senior Centre, and business-related access at Destination Osoyoos' office in the B.C. Visitor Centre @ Osoyoos.

The Okanagan Regional CAP Network sites have taken advantage of networking opportunities, enabling them to pool their resources and offer more to their communities. The Okanagan Regional CAP Network is committed to sustaining and improving the quality of access available to residents and visitors. We stand behind the Government of Canada's goal to help Canadians get connected.

Currently we offer internet access and basic level computer training on request.
