Friday April 21st 2017 @ Watermark Beach Resort:
BEACH BBQ & BREWS FESTIVAL
The 6th Annual Osoyoos Oyster Festival introduces the first ever Beach BBQ & Brews Fest! Join us on the beach at Watermark Beach Resort to enjoy a BBQ style buffet while you sip some of the South Okanagan’s best Brews, Craft Ciders and a signature Canadian Whiskey cocktail.
Featuring the best of East & West Coast seafood, International Oysters, and traditional BBQ fare. Non seafood dishes will also be available. Receive a complimentary tasting glass upon arrival.
Shuttle service to and from the event is included in the ticket price. Shuttles will depart at intervals from set locations.
Saturday April 22nd 2017 @ Walnut Beach Resort:
DEEP SEA GARDEN PARTY
Being held outside on the lawn of Walnut Beach Resort with an incredible view of Osoyoos Lake, the Osoyoos Oyster Festival Deep Sea Garden Party is unlike any other event in the festival. Sample amazing culinary delights from under the sea and sip exceptional wine and beer from our local wineries and craft breweries. Once again we are honoured to have special guest Patrick McMurray “Shucker Paddy” in attendance. Patrick is a former World Champion Oyster Shucker and owner of The Ceili Cottage Restaurant in Toronto. He will be shucking fresh oysters, courtesy of Codfathers Seafood Market. Roasted pork will also be available courtesy of Chef Ross Derrick of The Table Cafe in Kelowna sponsored by Centennial Food Service.
New this year is the introduction of The Garden Market. Local vendors will be offering samples as well as products for sale, including a Pint o’ Prawns featuring BC spot prawns. A kid’s zone will offer activities and educational items to make this event family friendly. Receive your complimentary Osoyoos Oyster Festival Wine Glass upon arrival to the event. Non-alcoholic beverages are available. Shuttle service to and from the event is included in the ticket price. Shuttles will depart at intervals from set locations.
One child under the age of 10 admitted free with each adult. Tickets for youth aged 11-18 are available at a reduced rate. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday April 22nd 2017 @ Spirit Ridge Resort:
ART OF THE PEARL GALA
The Art of the Pearl Gala is one of our signature events of the Osoyoos Oyster Festival. Incredible oyster creations will be served from local restaurants by our local chefs, plus fresh shucked oysters and a small late-night buffet. Wine samples from the area’s award winning wineries will be offered for tasting.
Special guest Patrick McMurray “Shucker Paddy”, former World Champion Oyster Shucker and owner of The Ceili Cottage Restaurant in Toronto, will once again be making the trip west and be shucking fresh oysters, courtesy of Codfathers Seafood Market. Receive your complimentary Osoyoos Oyster Festival Wine Glass upon arrival. Non- Seafood options will be available. This is a fun, social, grazing and tasting event, inspired by the sea. You will also be encouraged to participate in the People’s Choice Award for best pairing, winners will be announced at the end of the evening.
Reception 6pm-7pm – join us in the courtyard for sparkling wine tastings and light canape service. Gala Event begins at 7pm, with food and beverage stations offering until 9:30pm. Fresh shucked oysters will be available all evening. A cash bar, charcuterie buffet, photo booth, DJ and dancing will round out the evening which will end at 11pm. Grab bags will be available to purchase for a chance to win genuine pearl jewelry, cash prizes, gift cards and more! Shuttle service to and from the event is included in the ticket price. Wednesday April 19th: Miradoro Long Table Dinner

Back by popular demand, Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Winery brings their long-table dinner to the Osoyoos Oyster Festival. Enjoy a special evening, starting with freshly shucked oysters followed by a three course dinner dedicated to the Oyster. Call 250-498-3742 for tickets
Thursday April 20th: Under the Tuscan Sea
6:30 pm @ Terrafina Restaurant at Hester Creek
A pizza and oyster tasting event paired with the great spring release of Hester Creek Estate Winery and some of our ‘bubbly’ neighbors! This is a stationed stand up cocktail style reception. Graze your way through the evening sampling pizza and oyster pairings with some of our wonderful ‘bubbly’ neighbors of the South!

Friday April 21st: Whiskey & Oysters

Oysters and Whiskey at the SOL for the Osoyoos Oyster Festival! A great opportunity to try fresh oysters hand selected by Codfathers, and whiskeys all while overlooking Osoyoos Lake in the Sol Grillroom & Lounge. With special guest Patrick McMurray ‘Shucker Paddy” World Oyster Shuckin’ Champion!

Saturday April 22nd: Amateur Suck N Shuck Competition
8pm @The Sage Pub
Come to compete or come to cheer at the 6th Amateur Shuck ‘n’ Suck Competition as teams of two compete to win the coveted title of the Best Shuck ‘n Suck Team in the Okanagan! One team member shucks while the other sucks back the oysters. Whichever team shucks and sucks the most oysters before the clock runs out wins. Max 15 teams, so be sure to register early!
