With our widespread system of hiking and biking trails you can enjoy peaceful walk or a leisurely pedal with stunning views down the valley or take the challenge and go for the adrenaline rush on one of our mountain trails. Our Ecology, Cultural Arts and History best experienced firsthand with a visit to our local museum or one of two very different desert centres. Osoyoos is a vibrant community with lots of community spirit and local organizations that welcome visitors to join in the fun all year round - be it lawn bowling or a line dance at the annual Canada Day Celebrations. Family Fun

When you come to Osoyoos, you’ll need to bring comfortable clothes and footwear so that you can enjoy all the activities we offer. Golfing, hiking, walking, biking, bird watching, horseback riding, go-carting and water sports are just some of the things to help make your stay an active one for the whole family.

Often singled out as Canada’s Hot Spot, our temperatures in July and August can reach into the high 30’s Celsius and even the low 40’s.

Or enjoy the mild temperatures December through March with added bonus of great winter activities such as snow shoeing, downhill or cross country skiing in the nearby mountains.

If you lean to cultural pursuits, a visit to our art gallery, attendance at a live sporting event or one of our musical performances, will be sure to satisfy. Of course, if you lean to even more passive pursuits, you can always spend time relaxing on the beach or by a cosy fire depending on the season, enjoying a fine local wine and working your way through the bestseller book lists.
