Easter Weekend Events Happening in Osoyoos, B.C.

The Easter Weekend is almost upon us and there are plenty of events happening around the Osoyoos area that are loaded with fun and sure to make you hop ’til you drop.

To help you in making the most of your Easter Eggstravaganza, here is a round-up of the action happening between April 7th and April 10th so you don’t have to put all your eggs in one basket!

Easter Brunch at Miradoro Restaurant

Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek will be hosting a special Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 9th.

Enjoy mimosas with your entrée of either shakshuka, pizza primavera or poached farm-fresh eggs.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Gyro Park

Hop on down to Gyro Beach in Osoyoos for the Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 8th! This family-fun and free event features live entertainment, races, games, the annual Easter Egg Hunt and much more!

A Rotary Pancake Breakfast will also be served between 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with the egg hunt starting after that.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Nostalgia Wines

Who says the kids are the only ones allowed to have all the fun?

Break out of your shell for an eggcellent afternoon of hunting through the Nostalgia vineyard with some-bunny special.

Nostalgia has curated an afternoon of clues, prizes, hidden wine samples, challenges, games, and Easter eggs that are simply to dye for! The hunt will take participants all around the vineyard for hidden wine tastings, prizes and more and will conclude with a cheese and charcuterie social and samplings of new Nostalgia Wines releases.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 8th.

Easter Weekend Celebration at Covert Farms

Head to Covert Farms Family Estate for a fun Easter weekend on the farm (April 8-9 from 11 am – 5 pm), including wine tastings, charcuterie, on-the-hour complimentary farm tours from 12-4 pm, and a special Easter egg hunt for the little ones (and those just young at heart). Bring the family to jump on the jumping pillow and enjoy the fun-filled games area, including bocce ball, horseshoes, connect four, bean bag toss, and more, while visiting with the farm llamas, sheep, highland cows, and chickens!

On Sunday, April 9 from 1-4 pm, visitors will enjoy live musical entertainment by Aidan Mayes.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children, ages 3 to 18.

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Phantom Creek Estates

Join us at Phantom Creek Estates for our 2nd annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt!

Phantom Creek says they are very “hoppy” to welcome your family for a fun-filled morning of egg hunting on their estate.

After the hunt, guests can sip and savour some Easter weekend wines by the glass in their tasting room or restaurant while enjoying the beautiful South Okanagan vista.

The event will take place from 10-11 a.m. on Sunday, April 9th.

Easter Market at Tumbleweed Spirits

If you are in a shopping mood, a good option is checking out the Easter Market that will pop up at Tumbleweed Spirits on Friday, April 7th.

The event will run from 2-6 p.m. and feature local market vendors, live music, drink specials and jumbo hot dogs!

Easter Dinner at 15 Park Bistro

Another great option for an Easter meal is to head to 15 Park Bistro. The restaurant will be hosting three nights with a special Easter menu over April 8th-10th.

The specialty menu will be served between 4-9 p.m. and will include items such as Butternut Squash Soup, Turkey Roulade, and Herb & Dijon Crusted Prime Rib.

Slush Cup at Baldy Mountain Resort

In case you hadn’t heard, Baldy Mountain Resort has too much snow and is extending its season by one week, meaning it will end on Easter Weekend.

The final day of the year, Sunday, April 9th, will feature the iconic Slush Cup.

If you are itching to hit the slopes one last time during the Easter Weekend, you won’t want to miss this event. As a way to say goodbye to the ski season, Baldy Mountain Resort will dig out the slush cup pit and fill it up with some surely cold water for skiers and boarders alike to brave the aqua-neige as they try and skim across it, complete with some great costumes.
