Flaming Idiots is a full-length comedy by award-winning writer, playwright, screenwriter, director and actor, Tom Rooney.

The story involves Phillis and Carla quitting the post office and sinking all their money, plus a big chunk borrowed from a mobster loan shark, into a restaurant that immediately fails. Desperate, they remember another restaurant got popular when a mobster was shot in it. They decide they can recreate the phenomenon at their place, but rather than really killing someone, the victim will be The Body, a corpse they borrow from an uncle’s mortuary.

SOAP veteran, Diane Gludovatz directs this farce. “We all need an escape from reality (especially now), and this delivers it in spades.
