Fall is an amazing time to experience the South Okanagan.
When the summer comes to an end for the rest of Canada and the autumn begins, you can still experience warm, sunny days in Osoyoos.
When you visit Osoyoos in the fall, take a day or two to tour our many wineries. Sample the wines as you take in the beautiful views of the vineyards as the colours are changing.
At this time, the grapes are being harvested and turned into delicious wines for you to sip and savour. Late ripening fruits such as apples, pears, and Italian plums are being picked fresh from the orchards. With so much happening in the area, there is something for everyone this Fall.
In celebration of this spectacular harvest time, the towns of Oliver and Osoyoos come together with the Fall Wine Festival weekend, October 5th & 6th.
Over two fun-filled days, experience all that the South Okanagan has to offer. Taste local and regional wines, ciders, craft beer, and spirits. Sample rustic creations from the South Okanagan’s best chefs and food trucks. Shop local artisan crafts and vendors. It’s all happening at the South Okanagan Fall Wine Festival!
Saturday October 5th 6pm – 10pm: Cask and Keg
The Fall Wine Festival weekend is more than just wine! Cask and Keg is an outdoor evening event focused on celebrating the creations from local and regional breweries, distilleries and cideries. This fun, relaxed evening will be filled with live entertainment provided by Knacker’s Yard, tasty morsels created by a variety of food trucks and locally made artisan wares on display by select vendors.
