Nestled on the banks of the Osoyoos Lake, the Richter Pass Motor Inn promises a genuine Okanagan experience! We’re central...
In 2008, Rod and Pat Fortin decided to retire to the interior of beautiful British Columbia.
What they found in Oliver, was the stunning Wine Capital of Canada and the myriad of lush vineyards situated in the Okanagan Valley. Always looking for the next adventure, they purchased the property and converted it into a beautiful vineyard.
Living the dream? That’s just what they’re doing. Retiring? Not a chance!
Their son Tim and his wife Eileen met at Culinary School. They both have a love for great food and excellent wine shared with family and friends.
In 2016 they couldn’t resist any longer. They purchased the adjoining property and shed the city life.
Together with sons Kelsey and Taylor, they’ve planted the Mountainview vineyard, built the winery facility and the wine shop.
Three generations of the Fortin family are involved in all aspects of the winery and vineyard from winemaking to harvest. We produce exceptional small lot premium wines focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon. The three acre vineyard is planted exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon tended to by hand in this unique terroir consisting of sand and gravel soils. Additional grape varietals such as Merlot and Chardonnay are sourced locally.
This hidden gem is tucked away in a residential pocket, nestled between Tuc-el-nuit Lake and Okanagan riverway. It is a short walk along the boardwalk from Oliver Town centre. The Southwest styled property is complete with rustic metal sculptures from Mexico.
Outdoor seated tastings on the patio overlook the vineyard with gorgeous views of McIntyre Bluff.
