After 15 years producing some of Canada’s best wines and sharing them with people around the world as owners of Church & State Wines, it was time for a step in a new direction. Smaller, more focused, more precise – Second Chapter Wine Company is the distilled vision of what made us so passionate about winemaking in this unique corner of the globe in the first place.
To produce truly exceptional, terroir-driven wines one must have a singular heading and follow that path explicitly. Producing no more than 4,000 cases annually, and only sharing those wines with our friends and followers directly, we strive to redefine what truly local wine can be.
We’ve been hard at work constructing our new cellar facilities under the Second Chapter Vineyard along Black Sage Road south of Oliver, BC.
Featuring a series of three caves burrowed under the vineyard for barrel aging, as well as a full-service boutique tasting cave, this unique collection of spaces will be the permanent home of the Second Chapter Wine Company.
The stand-alone cellar facility will be completed spring 2021, with the caves ready to receive barrels the following harvest, and the boutique tasting cave open to the public in early 2021.
To join the wine club it’s easy: simply continue to the packages page of our website, and choose one of our packages. We ship on a quarterly basis, in March, June, September and December, to the location you’d like. As a very exclusive operation, we understand that it’s not always easy to find our wines in the marketplace.
