Come help us replant the vineyard!

Join us May 4th for an educational planting event! We are replanting sections of our Oliver vineyard in the next few months, and we wanted to invite you to learn and experience the process. Winemaker Mel Smits will talk about the plant cycle and vine health, effects of cold weather in the last two years on our vineyard, and plans and experiments for the coming months to reestablish sections of the farm.

This event will be in the vineyard mostly and will involve hands-on planting of new vines. Dress for appropriately for light gardening duties, basically, as we will be actually planting vines! Afterwards, the planting class, we will be having a wine tasting with snacks, either outside or in the tasting room.

Time: 10:00am – noon, May 4th, 2024, at our vineyard – 450 Road 8, Oliver BC.

This event is weather dependent, and we may cancel/reschedule it if the weather looks inclement on the day. We will decide on May 2nd.
