Move Therapies is a pain reduction and mobility improvement clinic whose owners are the wife and husband team of Leanne Scott and Dale Fuhr.
Leanne and Dale both studied the Anat Baniel Neuromovement Method (ABM – +800 hour course) to help improve the life of their son Callum who has Special Needs; and from that discovered how potent the method is for improving mobility and reducing pain for both minor and major issues, as well as treating most neurological conditions (Arthritis, Rheumatoid/Osteoarthritis, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia, undiagnosed neuropathies, Depression, PTSD, Cerebral Palsy and much more).
Their clinic has been open since 2016 and has numerous written and video testimonials outlining the variety of conditions that they have worked with; with great success.
“By moving our clients in slow, effective, yet subtle movements, we help them to become more organized in their movement – and in doing so chronic pain can vanish, mobility can increase, and they can overcome the physical and mental obstacles they are challenged with.”
Our fully-trained practitioners guide you through a pain-free process of learning how to move easier by improving how we move. We take advantage of the fact that our overall health can change for the better when learning how to move more gently and easily, which then leads to more skillful and effective movement. For most of us this is counter-intuitive to what we have been told and what we have done so far.
In doing movements in a gentle and effective way, the brain is provided with sensory and motor information. This helps create new connections in the brain, which typically leads to a reduction in chronic pain while increasing strength, flexibility, coordination & cognitive performance. Research shows that exercise that centres around using the brain more optimally leads to a variety of positive outcomes. Please browse our testimonials to see what others have experienced.
