Osoyoos & District Museum and Archives

Formally established in 1963, the Osoyoos Museum houses a collection of over 4,000 pieces. Come immerse yourself in local history and deepen your connection with the community.

Guided historical walking tours are available during the summer months.  Contact the museum for the schedule, or get a group together for a private tour.

Heritage Interpretive Signs

With the help of the Heritage Legacy Fund of British Columbia and the Town of Osoyoos new heritage interpretive signs were installed around Osoyoos in 2014.  There are currently seven heritage signs located at: Osoyoos Sailing Club, THE ART GALLERY Osoyoos, Osoyoos Town Hall, Sonora Centre, near the bridge, at Gyro Park, and at the Haynes house on Lakeshore Drive.  Each sign includes information and pictures relating to the heritage significance of the site.  Signs and their locations can be found on the 2017 Town of Osoyoos map (produced by Osoyoos Times).
