Getting Here

At the gateway to the Okanagan and Similkameen Valley lies Canada’s desert, and the delightful lakeside town of Osoyoos. Osoyoos is location at the junction of two major highways (Highway 97 and Highway 3) at the southern tip of the Okanagan Valley. Osoyoos is only 2 kilometers away from the Canada – U.S. border, and shares Osoyoos Lake with Washington State. Located just 45 minutes from the Penticton Airport and 1.5 hours from Kelowna International Airport, access to Osoyoos by air is a breeze.

To accommodate private fixed wine and rotary aircraft, the Osoyoos airstrip has a paved 2,800 foot runway to get you minutes away from downtown.

Area 27

Designed by Canadian racing champion and icon Jacques Villeneuve, Area 27 has become a ‘must visit’ for speed enthusiasts. Opened in the fall of 2016 in the south Okanagan, Area 27 has been designed to capture the essence of a Classic Grand Prix track. With 16 corners, a 4.83 km/3-mile length and 250 ft. of elevation change, it captures driver’s imaginations while challenging and rewarding them at all skill levels.

With the state-of-the-art clubhouse completed June 2019 there is now a 3,200 square foot dining room and 2,500 square foot patio to watch all the action on the track, as well as high-endmembers locker room, state of the art classroom and driver’s pro shop.


Motorsports Mixer

Get a taste of the basics of high-performance driving on Area 27’s circuit and wheel-to-wheel karting action at Kartplex.

The Motorsports Mixer is the perfect opportunity to experience raw power on the Area 27 circuit with lead-followed styled sessions and a 2-hour session of exhilarating karting at the Kartplex.


Camaro Academy

The Camaro Driving Academy is setting a new standard in high-performance driver education. The Academy’s curriculum is designed to give you the right tools to master every corner. Motorsports enthusiasts of all experience levels have an opportunity to drive on Canada’s most exclusive circuit, taking advantage of programs Level 1 through Level 3.


Kartplex

Book the Kartplex for a private function, personal gathering, or as an additional activity for clients during an event on Area 27’s big circuit.

Kartplex packages are designed to ensure that everyone in your group has an unforgettable experience! Speed Demons can go wheel to wheel on the track and find out who’s really the quickest on the timing charts, while less experienced drivers are given plenty of space to enjoy the amazing track safely at their own pace.

Kartplex offers great team building and educational packages for drivers of all experience levels. Refreshments provided, with optional catering available for larger groups.


Cultural & Outdoor Experiences

With a rich Indigenous culture and vibrant arts community, activities, events, and amenities, Osoyoos has much to explore and discover. Our arts, history, and culture are best experienced firsthand with a visit to one of our local museums, art galleries, or interpretive centres – perfect for group tours or meetings off the beaten path.

We’re a region that is rich in history and culture and it’s easy to share in that understanding because we have trails and walkways everywhere, each leading to a different part of our living and historical environment. Cyclists come to Osoyoos for high road, back road, off road, mountain and BMX biking adventures. Many top-end athletes come to us for endurance biking, which you’ll find in several locations.

Osoyoos is surrounded by over 60 wineries between the Oliver-Osoyoos and Similkameen wine regions within a 20-minute drive, each offering several unique tasting experiences. Custom tours with a private guide provide groups with a fun, safe, and knowledgeable wine experience. If wine isn’t your thing, Osoyoos also has a handful of boutique cideries, breweries, and distilleries offering tastings and experiences.

Set among sage and rolling hills our courses have fairways that flow gently along contoured canyons with water accents. The fact that you can play virtually year-round is a huge bonus. The Osoyoos Golf Club boasts of two 18-hole golf championship courses with the public always welcome. Golfers of all abilities can enjoy the sunning 9 hole experience of Sonora Dunes Golf Course. And it’s all within Osoyoos town limits. Additional courses can also be found throughout the South Okanagan.
