Two must-try Dine Around Interior options in Osoyoos, B.C.

We are calling on all foodies to unite because, for the next month, it is time to Sip, Savour and Stay as part of one of the biggest and best culinary festivals in the South Okanagan.

B.C. Restaurant & Foodservices Association (BCRFA) is coming together once again in 2023 to organize the always popular Dine Around – Sip, Savour & Stay Interior BC.

Dine Around Interior is one of the region’s notable food festivals with over 60 incredible restaurants offering set three-course menus at deliciously low prices between January 18-February 9, 2023.

These locations participating in the 2023 program span across the Interior, Northern and Kootenay, B.C. and include both dine-in and dine & stay packages, you can enjoy a three-course meal ranging from $25, $35, $45, $55, and $65 per person, excluding tax and BC wine, beer or spirit pairings.

The best part of the whole event is that two restaurants from Osoyoos are participating in the Dine Around event: 15 Park Bistro and The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry.

15 Park Bistro

Inspired by the vitality of Osoyoos, the cooking at 15 Park Bistro is vibrant, fresh, and flavorful.

According to the restaurant, all ingredients follow an ethos of sustainability and exceptionality and are locally sourced whenever possible.

Located in the Watermark Resort in Osoyoos, just off Gyro Park, 15 Park Bistro will be offering two different options for the Dine Around festival. The first option is a $25.00 per person brunch menu and the second is a $45 per person dinner menu. For the dinner menu, guests can add $25 and get a three-course wine pairing as well.

For brunch, guests will have the choice between freshly baked croissants, strawberry & arugula salad or a peanut butter and banana smoothie before diving into the main courses of either eggs benedict or cobb salad.

For dinner, guests will delight in naan flatbread or fried burrata before the choice of chorizo-stuffed chicken breast or the classic 15 Park Bistro lobster mac & cheese.

Both dessert options feature cinnamon flavours with brunch having cinnamon sugar donuts and dinner having cinnamon banana chimichangas.

The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry

The inspiration for the name of this signature restaurant comes from a chaptik story passed down through generations of the First Nations people of the Okanagan.

The Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation’s approach to food is based on the creation stories of their culture and we’ve taken their stories as the inspiration for the name of this restaurant: The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry.

The Four Food Chiefs; Black Bear, Chinook Salmon, Bitterroot, and Saskatoon Berry, represent the key elements of Indigenous cuisine.

For Dine Around, the Spirit Ridge dining location is also offering two different menus, one for lunch and one for dinner. The lunch menu is $35 per person with the option of adding wine pairings for an additional $19. The dinner menu is a $55 per person three-course meal, with a wine paring add-on for $25.

Both options include three choices for entrees with lunch having a venison burger, a turkey sandwich or steelhead trout, while dinner has Lingcod, Duck, and Beef Back Ribs.

Anyone coming to Osoyoos for Dine Around is also eligible for a discount at Spirit Ridge. Guests can enter Promo Code G-DINE for rooms at Spirit Ridge Resort starting at $139 during the period of Dine Around (Jan 19 – Feb 10).
