Shop the Harvest at a Fruit Stand

The many fruit stands around the Osoyoos area will be loaded up with pumpkins, gourds and other locally-produced products from this year’s harvest and are worth stopping even just to see the full bins of colour!

Apples Galore!

Apples are coming into season through the end of September and into October and so not only will the fresh products be available (including apple juice and cider), but a fun, whimsical activity that many may not have tried is going apple picking!

Visit the Discovery Garden Pumpkin Patch

Covert Farms, a popular winery and family-run farm, will be running their Discovery Garden Pumpkin Patch which is available to guests who book a tour or tasting. Pick a pumpkin, see the fall colours, tour the farm and embrace the season!

Savour Farm-to-Table Meals with Seasonal Ingredients

One can savour a farm-to-table dinner from this year’s harvest at The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry restaurant, located at Spirit Ridge. The chefs will utilize seasonal ingredients to serve modern vineyard cuisine inspired by Indigenous roots.

Raise your Spirits at Tumbleweed Distillery

Tumbleweed Distillery continues to make incredible, award-winning craft spirits and is a great place to warm the body and soul with a drink as the weather changes from summer.

In addition to celebrating with drinks in their tasting room, you can also enjoy a seasonal experience when Tumbleweed hosts a Thanksgiving Weekend Market at its distillery on Oct. 8.

Festival of the Grape

The Fall Wine Festival is returning this year in Oliver, which will be a celebration of local wines and vineyards and include an annual Grape Stomp Competition, along with a handful of other events. This truly is a celebration of wine that you don’t want to miss!
