August has officially been dubbed the month to “Wine & Wed”. With the postponement and cancellation of large gatherings, several wineries across Canada are now offering mini-wedding and elopement packages, and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional wedding.
In Oliver-Osoyoos wine country, there are two wineries offering small wedding packages so that you can still enjoy a romantically intimate day for you and yours.
Besides, who wouldn’t want to tie the knot swathed in sunshine and surrounded by stunning vineyards and rolling hills?
Paired with first class accommodations, and the fine wines of the South Okanagan, Osoyoos is the dream destination for your small wedding or elopement.
Church and State Wines
Church and State Wines is offering pop-up elopement packages at their oh-so scenic Oliver location on August 15. Each package includes planning and coordination, photography, an officiant, a bottle of Church and State bubbly, a cheese and charcuterie picnic and much more! There are only 4 time slots available between 10am – 7pm, so be sure to contact Katie Ley for all the details and to book.
Covert Farms Estate Winery
With over 650 acres of picture-perfect farm, vineyards and orchards, Covert Farms Family Estates is the ideal setting to say “I do”. They’re offering small wedding packages for up to 30 people, with social distancing at top of mind. Covert Farm’s wedding package includes a socially distanced ceremony, mini reception (complete with a charcuterie and wine, of course), a champagne toast and more. To inquire, email email@example.com.
Whether your initial wedding plans have been postponed, or you’re looking to escape for an elopement, Osoyoos is the perfect spot for your special day. With amazing wedding packages and an array of accommodation options, your day will be effortless yet memorable.
